Laura C. Robinson received her call to the bar in 2010 and practises primarily in the area of criminal law.  In her practice she routinely appears in all court levels in Manitoba effectively representing clients charged under the Criminal Code of Canada, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and the Youth Criminal Justice Act.  She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on several occasions.

Laura began her career working for the former criminal defence firm of Gindin, Wolson, Simmonds, Roitenberg first as a law student in 2008 and then as a lawyer.   Since that time her practice has developed to cover a wide range of criminal law and quasi criminal law matters.   She has a wealth of experience dealing with all manner of offences, including violent crimes, property offences, weapons offences, drug offences, and driving offences. Additionally, she has experience handling Child Abuse Registry cases, extradition matters, and Criminal Code Mental Health Review Board matters.

In her years practising, she has successfully defended clients in trials before judges and juries, argued complex Charter issues, assisted with the sentencing processes, and advanced appeals on convictions and sentences. She strives to provide exceptional service to her clients while they navigate through the legal process.
