Being charged with a criminal or regulatory offence is often an intimidating and stressful experience. Kirk is a fierce advocate who takes pride in providing his clients with high quality service while guiding them through the complexities of the Canadian legal system.
Kirk graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2016. After graduating, Kirk was named as the recipient of the Bill Hay Future Leaders Internship by Hockey Canada where he had the opportunity to work in their headquarters in Calgary. After returning home to Winnipeg, Kirk articled and began his legal career at Pinx & Co under the guidance of Sheldon Pinx, KC where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in all areas of criminal and quasi-criminal law. Kirk joined Wolson Roitenberg Robinson Wolson in the fall of 2023.
Kirk represents clients facing charges under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Youth Criminal Justice Act, Tobacco Tax Act and The Highway Traffic Act. Kirk has acted as counsel on matters before all levels of Court in Manitoba, including the Provincial Court, Court of King’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal. He has defended clients in Manitoba, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
